Academic Scholarships – 8 v 8 Soccer and HUB Soccer

HUB Soccer of Denville, Inc. and the 8 v 8 Summer League of Denville, Inc. 2025 academic scholarship information and application are now available. The 8 v 8 Soccer scholarship is for girls only. The HUB Soccer scholarship is for boys and girls.

Key eligibility requirements are being a Denville resident, played in HUB Soccer’s travel or recreation program U9 > U15 and played soccer at Morris Knolls or an accredited academy program at Morris Hills or Morris County Technical School.

For applicants graduating from an accredited academy school, email info@hubsoccer.org to apply. Put your NAME – SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION in the subject line and your address and phone # in the email. Applications must be received on or before April 1 to be considered.

GIRLS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

ELIGIBILITY:

Denville Resident

Played in HUB Soccer’s recreation and/or travel program U9 > U15

Played on a girls’ soccer team at Morris Knolls, Morris County Tech/Vocational, or

Morris Hills High School if in an Academy Program

Travel Players: List the team(s), coaches you played for up to 8 th grade. If there

was no team to play on in 8 th grade due to YOB ‘Bubble Year’ issues, please

provide details.

Application must be submitted by the deadline established by the Morris Knolls

High School Guidance Department.

REQUIRED INFORMATION

1. Name, street, city, state, zip, phone # and email address

2. Copy of academic transcript with GPA and Class Rank

3. List of school activities (clubs, sports, etc.)

4. List of community service and services performed

5. List employer(s) name, towns and duties performed

6. List post high school colleges, universities applied to and/or acceptance letter

7. Two 100 to 200 word typed essays:

• Who was your primary soccer role model and why?

• Name 1 living and 1 historic person you would like to have dinner with and why?
